Two former employees of a New York eatery now known as The Spotted Dog (formerly Honky Tonk Tavern) have filed suit against the restaurant’s operating company and an individual owner over alleged labor law violations. Both plaintiffs say they were hired as cooks and food preparers and worked more than 40 hours per week – 66 and 51 hours, respectively – for the defendants without receiving proper minimum, overtime, or spread-of-hours wages.
