Car Wash Headquarters, Inc. (which does business as Mister Car Wash) and the company’s regional manager have been named in a lawsuit filed by a former employee.
Car Wash Headquarters, Inc. (which does business as Mister Car Wash) and the company’s regional manager have been named in a lawsuit filed by a former employee who claims he is owed unpaid overtime wages and was fired in retaliation for complaining about the defendants’ pay practices. The suit, recently removed from state to federal court, argues that the plaintiff worked as a customer sales associate for the defendants between 2014 and April 2017 without receiving time-and-a-half overtime pay for the hours he worked beyond 40 each week. The man claims he voiced his concerns about the legality of the defendants’ pay practices and was terminated in retaliation.
