Expressive Lighting Inc. is facing a proposed class and collective action that takes issue with defendant’s allegedly illegal pay practices. The plaintiff in the case, a former employee who worked in the lighting company’s warehouse, claims he and other employees regularly put in more than 40 hours of work per week but were not paid premium time-and-a-half wages for the hours they worked over 40. The suit further argues that the defendant failed to provide accurate wage statements in accordance with state law.
