A former laborer claims in a lawsuit that Professor Green Thumb failed to pay proper overtime wages.
Professor Green Thumb, Inc. and an individual with control over the company have been sued by a former laborer who claims he regularly worked more than 40 hours per week without overtime pay. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff worked for the defendants from December 2017 through March 2018. The plaintiff claims that despite working roughly 55 to 60 hours per week for the landscaping company for months, he was paid only his straight-time rate for hours worked in excess of 40.
