Fusic v. King Plastic Corporation et al
Filed: July 12, 2017 ◆§ 2:17-cv-00390-UA-CM
An employee alleges King Plastic Corporation owes unpaid overtime wages.
A manufacturing worker employed by King Plastic Corporation claims the company and one individual should be on the hook for allegedly unpaid overtime wages owed for work done between October 10, 2016 and April 27, 2017. The plaintiff claims the defendant “operated on a 15-minute interval time keeping system,” meaning that if the man was even a few minutes late, King Plastic’s system would skip to the next 15-minute interval and thereby reduce the plaintiff’s tracked overtime hours. The case further claims the defendant failed to maintain proper time records as required under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
