A proposed collective action has been filed against Jodat Law Group, P.A. and an individual owner over claims that they failed to pay their office managers proper overtime wages. The plaintiff says she worked more than 40 hours per week for the defendants without receiving time-and-a-half overtime wages as mandated by the Fair Labor Standards Act. She further alleges that she was required to deliver mail between office locations and was not compensated for her travel time.
