A New York man has filed a proposed collective/class action against H.Y.M. Construction and its owner in which he says he’s owed unpaid overtime wages.
A New York man has filed a proposed collective and class action against H.Y.M. Construction and its owner in which he claims he’s owed unpaid overtime wages. According to the complaint, the plaintiff worked between nine and 11 hours per day for the defendants from February 2005 through September 2017 without uninterrupted breaks on any workday. The plaintiff claims he worked roughly 56 hours per week for up to as much as $125 cash per day without being paid proper time-and-a-half overtime or spread-of-hours wages.
