A proposed collective and class action filed in Washington federal court claims that HPM Corporation operated a pay “scheme” that deprived workers of lawful wages.
The plaintiff is an hourly employee for the defendant, a company that provides healthcare and project management services to government clients and their contractors. The man alleges he was paid an hourly rate of $46.16 for all time worked, including for overtime hours that should have been compensated at a time-and-a-half rate. The suit further claims that HMP Corporation denied the plaintiff paid rest breaks and vacation pay.
