Holistic Recovery Centers, LLC is on the receiving end of a proposed class action lawsuit that claims it violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) by failing to pay employees proper overtime wages. The plaintiff insists that she worked for the defendant for over 40 hours per week without receiving time-and-a-half compensation for the hours she worked above 40. She says she was never employed in a position that would be considered exempt from overtime wages and that the defendant “acted knowingly and in willful disregard of the FLSA” by failing to pay her properly.
