Great American Jewelry Inc. and two individuals have been hit with a lawsuit in New York claiming they failed to pay spread-of-hours wages, failed to pay overtime wages, and failed to furnish employees with proper wages notices and statements. The case was filed by a sales associate who says she worked approximately 55 hours per week and more than ten hours per day without receiving proper compensation under state wage laws. She is seeking a declaratory judgment and injunction, as well as compensatory and liquidated damages.
