Yang v. Grand Sichuan Eastern (NY) Inc. et al.
Filed: October 23, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-08162
Grand Sichuan Eastern (NY) Inc. and an individual owner are facing claims that they failed to pay employees proper wages and provide required wage documents.
Grand Sichuan Eastern (NY) Inc. and an individual owner are facing claims that they failed to comply with provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law. In a proposed collective action, a former employee of the restaurant, which the complaint says does business as Grand Sichuan Eastern, says he regularly worked more than 60 hours per week without receiving overtime and spread-of-hours wages. He further alleges that the defendants unlawfully failed to keep an accurate record of his hours and wages and denied him required wage statements with each pay period.
