P.U. Patel, LLC and its owner are facing a proposed class action out of Georgia claiming employees of Dairy Queen II of Griffin were not paid overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Filed by a former cook, the lawsuit alleges the plaintiff was paid a flat salary without receiving time-and-a-half wages for all hours worked over 40 in a week.
