Superior Protection Services, Inc. is facing a lawsuit that alleges it failed to pay proper overtime to security officers in Arkansas.
Security staffing and training group Superior Protection Services, Inc., which operates as Advert Group USA, is the defendant in a proposed collective action that claims the company owes unpaid overtime wages under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Arkansas state law. The plaintiff, who worked as a security officer for the defendant from January through August 2017, claims he and proposed collective members were paid a salary but never received time-and-a-half hourly overtime pay for hours worked past 40 each week.
