Travis v. Saber Healthcare Group, Llc.
Filed: November 28, 2017 ◆§ 8:17cv2851
Per a former employee's lawsuit, Saber Healthcare Group allegedly failed to pay workers at its nursing home facilities wages for all hours worked.
Ohio-based Saber Healthcare Group, LLC, which does business across six states as The Crossing of Riverview, is facing a former resident aide’s lawsuit in which the woman claims the nursing facility operator failed to pay proper wages. The plaintiff, who worked for the defendant for roughly one year, claims she was not paid for all hours worked, with the bulk of this time constituting overtime hours. The lawsuit, citing possible Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) violations, estimates the defendant owes the plaintiff more than $2,000 in unpaid wages.
