Gonzalez v. Bread And Chocolate Llc
Filed: April 11, 2018 ◆§ 1:18cv21438
A former employee has filed suit against the operating company of Granier Bakery over claims that he wasn’t paid proper overtime wages despite working between 50 and 60 hours per week.
Florida
A former employee has filed suit against the operating company of Granier Bakery over claims that he wasn’t paid proper overtime wages. The man says he worked at the Florida bakery between February 2014 and November 2017 and was responsible for various duties including bakery production, purchasing supplies, maintenance, and remodeling. According to the complaint, he was paid a fixed salary of $725.00 per week for 50 to 60 hours of work. The suit argues that the defendant violated the Fair Labor Standards Act by failing to include time-and-a-half premium pay for the hours the plaintiff worked above 40 each week.
