Brooks v. Mother Trucker, LLC et al.
Filed: November 7, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-04469-CAP
Mother Trucker, LLC failed to pay drivers proper time-and-a-half OT, a lawsuit filed in Georgia claims.
A Georgia man formerly employed as an hourly paid truck driver by Mother Trucker, LLC has sued the company and its owner to recover supposedly unpaid overtime wages. The plaintiff, who hauled asphalt, cement and dirt for the defendants from November 2014 through July 2017, alleges he and similarly situated drivers routinely worked in excess of 40 hours per week without time-and-a-half pay as required by the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The complaint further claims the defendants have failed to maintain proper employee time records, another FLSA requirement.
