Recommendation Contracting, Inc. and one individual are on the receiving end of a lawsuit filed by a former construction helper who claims he was not paid proper time-and-a-half overtime. The case alleges the plaintiff regularly worked between 51 and 58.5 hours per week from April through November 2016 without correct overtime compensation. The lawsuit adds the defendant allegedly also violated federal and state labor laws by failing to maintain accurate wage and time records and failing to provide wage statements to employees.
