Arizona
A former employee of HomeStreet Bank and HomeStreet Home Loan Center Co. has filed suit against the companies over claims that they failed to pay her proper wages. The suit alleges that the plaintiff, who worked for the bank as a processor, was often required to work more than 40 hours per week without receiving overtime wages. She says that she and similarly situated employees were expected to work beyond their scheduled hours to answer emails, text messages, and phone calls from customers or fellow employees. The suit further alleges that the defendants failed to include employee bonuses in their overtime calculations.
