Tandoori Touch LLC Tandoori Touch Avreet Inc. Punjab Kabab House Inc. Punjabi Kabab House
New York
A former cook for Tandoori Touch and Punjabi Kabab House has filed suit against the restaurants’ operating companies and individual owners over alleged labor law violations. The man claims he regularly worked almost 70 hours per week but was not paid premium wages for the hours he worked over 40 each week or over 10 each day. Furthermore, the case alleges the defendants didn’t pay the plaintiff his full salary – $750 per week – for the period between March and June 2016 and still owe him $1,750 in unpaid wages.
On top of the alleged wage violations, the complaint claims the defendants failed to provide employees with required breaks and accurate wage statements.
