A former ticket seller has filed suit against a group of bus companies claiming they failed to pay him proper wages. The defendants – Rockledge Bus Tour Inc.; Harmonious Grand Tour Co, Ltd. (which does business as HG Bus Ltd.); Xinnix Ticketing, Inc.; Fox Bus, Inc.; New Everyday Bus Tour, Inc.; and three individual owners – operate a transportation business that runs between Chinatown locations in several states, according to the complaint. The plaintiff alleges he worked for the companies between February and September 2017 and claims that, despite working between 54 and 63 hours per week, he was never paid proper minimum, overtime, or spread-of-hours wages.
Moreover, the suit argues, the defendants never provided accurate wage statements and notices to their employees in alleged violation of the New York Labor Law.
