Florida
Collateral Management Appraisal LLC (which does business as Collateral Management LLC) and an individual with control of the company are facing claims that they failed to pay their employees proper overtime wages. The plaintiff, a former audit specialist, says he worked for the defendants from February 22, 2016 to March 19, 2017 without receiving overtime wages for the hours he worked above 40 each week. He claims his workweeks averaged 51 hours in 2016 and 44 hours in 2017 and estimates that he is owed $15,763.30 in unpaid overtime, as mandated by the Fair Labor Standards Act.
