Real Masters Construction, Inc. and its owner are the defendants in a class action claiming the parties violated the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) by failing to pay proper overtime wages. The lawsuit says the plaintiff and class members were not paid the time-and-a-half overtime rate for hours worked over 40 in a workweek, a violation of the FLSA. The named plaintiff claims he worked an average of 53 hours per week for more than three years without receiving proper overtime wages.
