Gold Ring Catering and its president are the defendants in a suit filed by a former cashier who alleges he and other workers were not paid proper wages.
Tampa, Florida’s Gold Ring Catering, Inc. and its president and vice president are the defendants in a proposed class action filed by a former cashier and cook who alleges he and other workers were not paid proper overtime wages. The lawsuit claims the plaintiff regularly worked more than 40 hours per week, of which the defendants were aware and permitted, but was never paid at the mandatory time-and-a-half hourly rate for this extra work time.
