Filed: November 20, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-24212-MGC
A former employee claims Florida pizza company Pieducks broke the law by failing to pay time-and-a-half overtime wages.
Florida pizza makers Pieducks Company, LLC and one individual with control of the business are on the receiving end of a lawsuit in which the plaintiff claims he was not paid proper overtime wages. The plaintiff, who worked for the Miami-based defendants from May 2012 through November 2017, claims that within the last three years he’s worked roughly 55 hours per week without being paid time-and-a-half hourly overtime wages. The lawsuit claims the defendants’ supposed Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) violations were willful and company-wide.
