Woods v. First Choice Energy Services LLC
Filed: October 17, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-00222-DLH-CSM
A man formerly employed as a flowback hand by First Choice Energy Services claims the company owes him and other well-site employees unpaid wages.
An individual formerly employed as a flowback hand by First Choice Energy Services LLC has filed a proposed collective and class action against the company in North Dakota stemming from allegedly unpaid overtime wages. The plaintiff, who worked for the defendant from May 2014 through March 2015 performing well-site manual labor, claims he and similarly situated employees were not compensated for all hours worked as a result of First Choice unilaterally deducting an hour from each day on weekly timesheets. According to the lawsuit, workers like the plaintiff commonly worked seven days per week, 12 hours per day without proper wages.
