Ace & W Investment, LLC is facing a lawsuit citing potential FLSA and Florida labor law violations stemming from allegedly unpaid minimum wages.
Ace & W Investment, LLC is on the receiving end of a proposed class and collective action citing potential Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Florida labor law violations stemming from allegedly unpaid minimum wages.
The plaintiff worked as a server at Manny’s Original Chophouse of Kissimmee – a restaurant operated by the defendant – from May to October 2016, the case says. According to the suit, the plaintiff was compensated at a tip-credited hourly rate, yet did not receive enough gratuities to meet the federal or state minimum wage threshold.
