Filed: July 7, 2017 ◆§ 8:17-cv-01644-VMC-TGW
A former employee alleges landscaping and maintenance company Proscape Group owes him and others unpaid overtime wages.
A former employee claims in a proposed class action that landscaping and maintenance company Proscape Group, Inc. and its owner owe unpaid time-and-a-half overtime wages. The plaintiff, who worked for the defendant for 30 weeks between 2016 and 2017, claims he worked a minimum of 60 hours per week without bona fide lunch breaks, but was only paid for 40 hours of work time each week. The man further claims he was fired by the defendant on May 31, 2017 without explanation. The complaint estimates the plaintiff is owed more than $14,000 in unpaid overtime.
