A former housekeeper claims Marriott International has failed to pay proper minimum and overtime wages stemming from 'off-the-clock' work.
An individual formerly employed as a housekeeper by Marriott International Inc. has filed a lawsuit against the company in which she claims she’s owed unpaid minimum and overtime wages. Filed in Florida, the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) lawsuit alleges the plaintiff worked more than 40 hours per week, often spending time before and after her scheduled shift performing unpaid laundry work, without being paid time-and-a-half overtime wages.
