The operating companies that run two Dunkin Donuts locations in Flushing and Jamaica, New York are the defendants in a proposed collective and class action in which the plaintiff claims she’s owed unpaid wages. According to the complaint, the plaintiff worked for defendants Union Nu Donuts Inc. and its owner from December 2017 through January 2018 as a food preparer and customer service provider. The plaintiff claims she was not paid for any hours worked during her roughly one-month tenure with the defendants. Further, the case states the defendants had no means by which employees could track their hours worked and failed to provide workers with mandatory wage statements.
