Lost Dog Pizza, LLC, which operates Brown Dog Pizza restaurant, and two individual owners are facing a proposed class and collective action filed by a former employee who claims they failed to pay him proper wages.
Lost Dog Pizza, LLC and two individual owners are facing a proposed class and collective action filed by a former employee who claims they failed to pay him proper wages. The plaintiff, who worked at the defendants’ Brown Dog Pizza restaurant in Telluride, Colorado between 2009 and April 2017, says he often worked more than 40 hours per week without receiving time-and-a-half overtime wages, an alleged violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act. The suit further argues that the defendants violated the Colorado Minimum Wage Act by failing to pay the plaintiff extra wages for the times he worked more than 12 hours in one workday.
