Longo v. Enecon Northeast Applied Polymer Systems, Inc. et al
Filed: July 18, 2017 ◆§ 2:17-cv-04263
Enecon Northeast Applied Polymer Systems and two high-ranking company officers are the defendants in a wage and hour class action.
New York
Composite materials application company Enecon Northeast Applied Polymer Systems, Inc. and its president and general manager are the defendants in a proposed class action alleging it failed to pay workers proper overtime wages. The plaintiff claims he worked at least 60 hours per week—5:15 am to 5:45 pm each day—as a laborer and technician for the defendants from 2012 through March 2016 and was never paid time-and-a-half overtime wages for any hours worked past 40 each week.
More specifically, the plaintiff argues he was only paid for time spent working at job sites, not for time spent at the defendants’ home base gathering tools and materials for transport to those job sites.
