Two employees of Legacy Land Management, Inc. have filed suit against the company over claims that they are owed unpaid wages. The plaintiffs allege that the defendant issued bad checks for their wages during the month of December, subjecting them to bank fees for each bounced check. According to the case, their employer then paid them via wire transfer for which they paid additional bank fees. The suit alleges that employees’ December 29, 2017 paychecks “have not cleared” and that banks have placed holds on all Legacy payroll checks, barring the plaintiffs and other employees from accessing their due wages.
