Elite Wheel Distributors is staring down a proposed collective action filed by a former laborer who claims he was not paid “full and proper overtime wages.”
Elite Wheel Distributors, Inc. is staring down a proposed collective action filed by a former laborer who claims he was not paid “full and proper overtime wages.”
The plaintiff worked out of the defendant’s Tampa auto accessories warehouse from August through October 2018 and alleges he was improperly compensated at a straight-time rate for hours worked in excess of 40 each week.
“Defendant’s policy of wrongfully denying Plaintiff, and the putative class’ hours of overtime work is uniform and companywide,” the suit charges.
