A class action out of California claims Ecolab Inc. failed to properly pay individuals employed as managers for all hours worked under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). The complaint alleges the employees were wrongfully misclassified as exempt from FLSA protections and were not paid the time-and-a-half hourly overtime rate required by law.
The proposed class covers individuals who have worked for the defendant in the capacity of Route Manager, Route Sales Manager or Sales and Service Route Manager at any time between September 9, 2012 and the present.
