Diner 24, Inc. and two individuals have been named as defendants in a proposed class action lawsuit filed by former employees who claim they were not paid proper wages. The complaint alleges that the plaintiffs worked for the defendants without being compensated according to the number of hours they worked. One of the plaintiffs says she was paid no wages at all. The defendants allegedly promised to write her two checks for the two months or so that they employed her but “failed to honor their agreement.” The suit cites violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and seeks monetary relief for proposed class members.
