Contreras et al v. National Restorations, Inc. et al
Filed: October 5, 2018 ◆§ 1:18cv6761
National Restorations and Design Installation Systems have been named in a lawsuit filed by three employees who claim they were not paid proper overtime wages.
Illinois
National Restorations, Inc., Design Installation Systems, Inc. and one individual with control of the companies are the defendants in a lawsuit filed by three employees who claim they were not paid appropriately for overtime work.
The plaintiffs were employed as laborers by the defendants from 2015 to 2018 and worked on construction projects in and around Chicago, according to the complaint. The suit alleges the plaintiffs regularly performed overtime work but received paystubs that falsely represented that the men only put in 40 hours each week. The men claim they were improperly paid at a straight-time rate for their overtime hours and that these wages were labeled as “bonuses” on their paystubs.
