Filed: September 15, 2017 ◆§ 1:17-cv-05423
Connbro Tavern Corp. (which does business as Connolly’s Corner) and two individuals are facing a proposed collective action filed by a former employee who claims he is owed unpaid wages.
New York
Connbro Tavern Corp. (which does business as Connolly’s Corner) and two individuals are facing a proposed collective action filed by a former employee who claims he is owed unpaid wages. According to the suit, the plaintiff was employed as a busboy and food runner and worked more than 40 hours per week without receiving overtime wages. The case further alleges that the defendants, at times, paid the plaintiff less than the tip-credited rate despite not being eligible to take a tip credit because they failed to provide notice and withheld some of the man's tips.
Furthermore, the lawsuit claims the defendants owe the plaintiff spread-of-hours wages and failed to provide required wage notices/statements as mandated by the New York Labor Law.
