Doss v. Connexion Point, LLC
Filed: October 23, 2018 ◆§ 1:18-cv-24380-RNS
An ex-employee of Connexion Point has filed a lawsuit against the company after her attempts to resolve alleged pay issues were “completely ignored.”
A former employee of Connexion Point, LLC has resorted to filing a lawsuit against the company over allegedly unpaid wages after attempting to resolve supposed pay issues and being “completely ignored.”
The plaintiff says she was scheduled to work 32 hours each week as a sales representative for the healthcare services company but routinely worked longer. According to the suit, the woman was only paid for her recorded hours despite being required to perform several hours of off-the-clock work every week. From the complaint:
“Just paying for hours logged into the computer system does not compensate employees for all hours worked. This means that any time spent checking email, switching programs, or doing any job requirement while not logged into the system was not compensated.”
Further, the plaintiff claims she is owed $360 in unpaid commissions and an additional $120 for an AHIP (America’s Health Insurance Plans) certification for which was not reimbursed. The case mentions the plaintiff worked for the defendant for four weeks before quitting due to alleged wage theft.
