Collective Action Filed Against Eliot Management Group for Allegedly Unpaid Wages
Last Updated on July 10, 2018
Anemanna v. Eliot Management Group, Llc
Filed: July 6, 2018 ◆§ 8:18cv1624
A lawsuit claims Eliot Management Group failed to pay a former employee up-front commissions.
Eliot Management Group, LLC is facing a collective action complaint that alleges the defendant routinely withholds commission and legally required minimum wages from its sales representatives. The plaintiff, who performed telemarketing and door-to-door sales for the defendant, claims he never received the "upfront commissions" he was promised when hired. He further alleges that he worked several weeks for the defendant without receiving compensation at all. The case argues that the defendant has not complied with the Fair Labor Standards Act by regularly withholding wages from the plaintiff and other sales representatives.
