Mohamed v. Cogint, Inc. et al
Filed: May 24, 2018 ◆§ 9:18cv80686
A former sales representative at Cogint, Inc. has filed suit against her joint employers claiming she is owed unpaid overtime wages.
Florida
Cogint, Inc. (formerly known as IDI, Inc.), Interactive Data, LLC, and Red Violet, Inc. have been named as defendants in a Florida woman’s proposed collective action that takes issue with the joint employers’ supposed refusal to pay workers proper overtime wages. The plaintiff says she worked as an account executive and then as a sales and account manager for the defendants – responsible for selling business-to-business background data – and was paid approximately $937.50 per week. Although she worked an average of 55 hours per week, according to the complaint, the woman wasn’t paid time-and-a-half overtime wages for the hours she worked over 40 – an alleged violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
