Filed: July 17, 2017 ◆§ 8:17-cv-01707-CEH-TBM
A former employee claims Florida's RiverHeights Cleaners and one other company owed unpaid overtime wages.
Florida
An individual formerly employed by RiverHeights Cleaners, Inc. has sued the company and Progressive Employer Management LLC over claims she and others are owed unpaid time-and-a-half overtime wages. The plaintiff, who was hired in March 2014, claims she habitually worked as many as 45 hours per week without being paid her rightful over-40-hour wages. Further, the woman argues she was not subject to any exempts of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) during her employment with the defendants.
