Producers Service Corporation is facing a former employee’s claims that he was not paid proper overtime wages while working for the defendant as an equipment operator. The suit alleges the plaintiff and other non-managerial oilfield operations employees regularly worked more than 40 hours per week but were only paid overtime wages for the hours they worked above 60 each week. The plaintiff says the defendant misclassified him as exempt from overtime wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
