A Cat5 Resources employee has filed suit against the disaster preparation and recovery company in which the man claims he is owed unpaid overtime wages.
A Cat5 Resources, LLC employee has filed a proposed collective action against the disaster preparation and recovery company in which the man claims he was improperly shorted on overtime wages.
The suit says the plaintiff is employed in Texas as an hourly worker responsible for responding to natural disasters, including hurricanes and tornados. According to the complaint, the man and other employees regularly work in excess of 40 hours each week without being paid at a time-and-a-half overtime rate, in violation of federal labor law.
