B&R Moll, Inc. is facing a proposed collective action claiming it failed to pay its employees proper overtime wages. The plaintiff says he worked for the company as a Senior Technician/Trade Show Manager and would often travel to locations across the United States to work on the shows, frequently putting in 50 to 55 hours of work per week. According to the complaint, he was not paid proper time-and-a-half overtime wages for the hours he worked above 40 each week and was not compensated for his travel time. Even further, the plaintiff claims the defendant represented to its customers that he was on-call 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and he often received calls during breaks and after business hours, the suit says.
