Anthem Productions, LLC Anthem Sound, Stage, and Lighting Advanced Audio Technology, LLC Anthem SSL
New York
Advanced Audio Technology, LLC—which does business as Anthem SSL—and its successor-in-interest, Anthem Productions, LLC—which does business as Anthem Sound, Stage, and Lighting—join three individuals as defendants in a proposed collective action filed by a former employee looking to recover allegedly unpaid overtime wages.
The plaintiff behind the suit worked for the defendants as an audio technician servicing events, clubs and other venues in New York from April 2014 through August 2017. The man claims the defendants required him and proposed class members to routinely work in excess of 40 hours virtually every week without proper time-and-a-half overtime pay. While the plaintiff did receive some overtime pay, the case claims, these wages were paid by the defendants for every hour worked in excess of 45each week in violation of New York Labor Law and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
