Corp., which does business as Associated Supermarket, and its husband and wife owners are facing a proposed class action claiming the Bronx, New York grocery purveyors failed to pay proper minimum and overtime wages. Filed in New York, the lawsuit alleges the defendants intentionally did not pay the plaintiff, a meat department employee for more than two years, at the time-and-a-half overtime rate for all hours worked over 40, even though he worked roughly 52 hours each week.
