Tappin v. Pacific Coast Management Llc et al
Filed: December 22, 2017 ◆§ 4:17cv860
A plaintiff claims administrative staff at Arkansas Rheumatology Center and Arkansas Diagnostic Center are owed unpaid time-and-a-half wages.
The respective entities that do business as Arkansas Rheumatology Center and Arkansas Diagnostic Center are the defendants in a proposed class and collective action wherein the plaintiff claims she and other administrative staff are owed unpaid overtime wages. Filed against Pacific Coast Management, LLC and two individual medical doctors, the complaint claims the plaintiff and similarly situated staff members regularly received deductions on their paychecks, purportedly for the purpose of paying health insurance premiums, despite consistently working more than 40 hours per week. The lawsuit alleges the defendants did not purchase an insurance policy with money taken from staff members’ checks.
