Ampex Brands Burleson, LLC, which operates several KFC and Long John Silvers restaurants in Arkansas and the surrounding states, is the defendant in a wage and hour lawsuit.
The suit was filed by two hourly paid cashiers and managers who worked at KFC and Long John Silvers restaurants in Little Rock. According to the case, the company maintained a “commonly applied practice” of failing to pay employees for all hours worked. The plaintiffs allege they put in an average of five to 10 overtime hours each week for which they were not properly compensated.
