Amazon.com.dedc, LLC is facing a former employee’s claims that the defendant denied him and other warehouse workers proper wages. The man says he was employed as a non-exempt warehouse associate between October 28, 2017 and November 25, 2017 but didn’t receive proper minimum and overtime wages in accordance with state and federal law. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff sent a handwritten letter to his supervisor around November 17 expressing his concern with the defendant’s alleged pay practices and, about a week later, was terminated in retaliation for his complaints.
