A class and collective action alleging overtime wage violations has been filed against Dassault Falcon Jet Corp.
A class and collective action alleging overtime wage violations has been filed against Dassault Falcon Jet Corp.
The plaintiff alleges he was deprived of proper wages while working for the company as an hourly paid manufacturing engineer, responsible for performing “tasks related to the design and construction of aircrafts.” According to the complaint, the plaintiff and similarly situated manufacturing engineers were paid at their regular rate for all hours worked, including overtime hours that should have been compensated at a time-and-a-half rate in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
In addition, the suit claims that “strict application of the statute of limitations” would be unfair to the proposed class given that the defendant failed to advise employees of their rights by not displaying FLSA regulations in the workplace.
